Excimer Laser

A cold high energy laser used in PRK (Photo-refractive Keratotomy) and Lasik (Laser in-situ Keratomileusis) where the central zone of the cornea is altered in curvature to change the overall power of the eye.

The computerised equipment uses a pulsating beam of ultraviolet light to sculpt the corneal tissue. The procedure can correct both long and short-sightedness.
